As a magician in Nashville, October is my busiest month. For the past three years I have done a show at the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere for Boo at the Zoo. There are also lots of private parties in October and I’d like to share about two of them where I performed magic in Clarksville, TN, just a few miles northwest of Nashville.
Near the beginning of October, I performed at a private event in Clarksville for Lehman Advanced Dermatology. Dr Kimberly Lehman put together a wonderful event where she had several dermatology pharmaceutical reps give presentations about their products and I acted as a Master of Ceremonies and performed magic in between presentations and introduced each pharma rep. Then I performed a stand up magic show after all the presentations.
Eric Lehman, an attorney in Clarksville, originally contacted me about this event and lined me up for it. They did a great job of marketing this event because it was a full house. I was thrilled to get be a part of an event that was so well organized and it was a pleasure meeting the Lehman’s!
The end of October, I performed a stand up magic show at Austin Peay State University. Ashley Kautz contacted me about doing a show back in the beginning of 2018. Ashley is over The Adult, Nontraditional, and Transfer Student Center there at APSU. She and Haley and all the staff there at APSU did a great job of organizing everything. They had a riser set up for a stage area, they arranged the seating in an ideal way, and they had someone there to help me get the PA set and mic’ed up.
There were about 100 students there and they were such a fun group. What an honor it was when several groups of students asked to get a photo with me after the show.
There are so many parts of my stand up magic show where different people get to be a part of the show. Sometimes I bring them up to the stage and sometimes I go out into the audience. Several of these students were great participants in different parts of the magic show.
A few days after the show Ashley posted this 5 star review:
“I work at a university and brought Tim to campus for a family night before Halloween. We had guests from age 2 to 50 and everyone had a great time. Tim was timely, easy to work with, and put on a performance that was entertaining for all ages. I highly recommend hiring him for your event.” Ashley Kautz, Adult, Nontraditional, and Transfer Student Center Coordinator, Austin Peay State University
